An orientation program for 11th Grade (session 2018-2019) was organized at Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan Govt. College Of Home Economics Karachi by Students’ Affairs Committee with collaboration of Intermediate Co-ordination Committee on Monday 24th September, 2018. The ceremony was held at Rangoonwala Auditorium within the college premises.
A registration desk was set up outside the auditorium under the Supervision of Ms. Sadia Idrees and Ms. Najeeha Irfan, where Students of Nutrition & Dietetics Department along with members of the Students’ Council facilitated new students in getting their contact information registered for future communication in case of need. Sections lists and class timetables were also displayed outside the auditorium and Students’ Council members guided the new comers in locating their names in the lists and helping them with understanding the timetables. Members of the Students’ Council also managed discipline inside and outside the auditorium during the ceremony.
Ms Ghazala Naeem, In Charge Students’ Affairs Committee along with her Co In-charge, Ms Roohi Iqbal and the In charge of Intermediate Co-ordination Committee, Ms Farhat Rafi supervised the entire program. Members of the Students’ Affairs Committee as well as College faculty members were also present during the programme.
Amna Farrukh, President of Student’s Council from BS-4th semester did comparing, program started at 10:30 am with the recitation of verses form Holy Quran by Hafiza Sehar Sadiq of BS-6th semester, Nutrition and Dietetics Department.
Ms. Hina Qazi, lecturer from Nutrition and Dietetics Department gave presentation about College and its Rules and Regulations.
Dr Rubina Hakeem, Principal RLAK CHE, in her address, welcomed all the new entrants and highlighted the need for being punctual and regular. Furthermore, she highlighted Important rules of the college. The programme ended with an expression of good wishes for the new entrants.
The ceremony in the auditorium was followed by a tour of the college campus. Members of Students’ Council, Discipline members and CRs as assigned by the Student Council, guided groups of new students to various buildings and departments and showed them around classrooms, labs, and other facilities of the College.

RLAK Govt. College of Home Economics Karachi has announced an Orientation Program for the incoming batch of Grade XI students (academic session 2018–19) on Monday, 24th September, 2018. All concerned students along with only ONE parent are instructed to guarantee their presence for the Orientation at 10:00 am sharp.
Orientation: 10:30 am onwards
Venue: RLAK-CHE Auditorium
The Orientation will be followed by a tour of the college campus.
Commencement of regular classes: Tuesday, 25th September, 2018.

This is to inform you that due to the problem with the website of SECCAP, prospective candidates seeking admission in RLAK Government College of Home Economics are directed to fill the college admission form available at the college office during 8.30-2.00 on any working day.
This is for information of all prospective candidates that admissions for grade XI are commencing from 18th August 2018 onwards till 5th September 2018. The applicants are required to:
