All those XI Grade Students who have not been able to Submit their Enrolment Forms until now are informed that the Forms can now be Submitted with a late fee of Rs.500/- till 15-12-2016 to the College Office.

No Further Extension will be allowed in Time.

Total Fee will be as Follows:

  1. Enrolment Fee = Rs. 750/-
  2. Late Fee             = Rs. 500/-            Total                   =Rs.1250/-

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME OF 11th GRADE STUDENTS 2016

An Orientation Programme for first year students was organized by Students’ Affairs Committee, Raa’na Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics, on Monday, 22nd September 2016. The ceremony was held at the Rangoonwala Auditorium within the College premises. Two registration desks were set up outside the auditorium by the Students’ Committee where members of the Students’ Council facilitated new students in getting their contact information registered for future communication in case of need. Sections lists and class timetables were also displayed outside the auditorium and Students’ Council members guided the new comers in locating their names in the lists and helping them with understanding the timetables. Members of the Students’ Council also managed discipline inside and outside the auditorium during the ceremony. Ms Fahima Fatima, In Charge Students’ Affairs Committee along with her Co In-charge Ms Ghazala Naeem supervised the entire programme. Members of the Students’ Affairs Committee as well as College faculty members were also present during the programme. Amna Athar Jafri, student of BS VIII semester from Nutrition and Dietetics Department did comparing. The ceremony started at 9:00am with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Rubaisha Ejaz , Student of XII sec A.Ms Hina Kazi, Lecturer from Nutrition and Dietetics Department gave a brief presentation about the College and its rules and regulations. Dr Rubina Hakeem, Principal RLAK CHE, in her address, welcomed all the new entrants and highlighted the need for being punctual and regular. Furthermore, she highlighted important rules of the college. The Principal’s address was followed by member s of different clubs of Student’s Council introducing their club; they emphasized the aims and objectives of their respective clubs. The programme ended with an expression of good wishes for the new entrants.img-20160921-wa0009

 The ceremony in the auditorium was followed by a tour of the college campus.  Members from different clubs guided groups of new students to various buildings and departments and showed them around classrooms, labs, and other facilities of the College.

Admission process to 1st year classes of the 4-Year BS Home Economics Program for the year 2017 is commencing from Tuesday, 4th October 2016. Students completing XII Grade in Home Economics or Science Groups (Pre-Medical & Pre-Engineering only) are advised to submit the form between 5th October 2016 to 30th November 2016 in College Office between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on any working day. Admission Policy for B.S Semester-I  2017

  • All Admissions are Provisional. The college reserves the right to cancel any admission.
  •  Science group (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical Only). Students securing 50% aggregate marks or above are eligible for admission
  • Home Economics Students securing 540 marks (45%) or more are eligible.
  • Home Economics Students with 540 marks but failed in 2 subjects are also eligible for admission.
  • Students who have passed their H.Sc. examination(Science or Home Economics Group) in A+,A,B+ and B Grade can submit their fee directly by obtaining a bank voucher from the College office.
  • List of Successful Candidates will be uploaded on the College website on 5th December 2016.

CHANGE IN COLLEGE TIMINGS

This is to inform all concerned that college timings have been changed with effect from Wednesday 21st September 2016. New timings are as follows:

1) Monday to Saturday (Excluding Friday)                                                                                     8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

2) Friday                                                                                                                                                8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.                                                                                          

From Monday 26th September, 2016 a daily morning assembly will be held in the College Auditorium at 8:10a.m. sharp. It is compulsory for all students and staff to attend the assembly.

Students are advised to arrange their transport to and from the college according to the new time schedule.
