Environmental Club Activities

The academic year 2014 to 15 was the first year of the Environmental Club, one of the newly set-up Student-Council clubs. Lots of ideas were explored to improve over-all environmental aspects of the College and finally member students decided to renovate Common Room of the College which was in pretty bad shape.
The Club’s first task was to raise funds to purchase material for renovation; for that the members conducted a week-round fund raising activity by preparing and selling tea-time snacks to staff and students.
The Common Room walls and pillars were painted and decorated. In the task recycled material as CDs and bottles were used. The tables and benches were provided by the college administration for the students. The Principal appreciated efforts of Environmental-Club Members.
