PAKISTAN HOME ECONOMICS ASSOCIATION and RLAK Government College of Home Economics Karachi arranged a one day conference on HOME ECONOMICS AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS. The objective of the conference was to highlight the role of home economics in promoting responsible consumption and meeting sustainable development goals and to highlight the need for exploiting non- fiscal channels for empowerment of consumers and women. The conference begun in the name of Allah from Holy Quran by Humaira Akhlaq translated by Ms.Fatima Mohd Sualeh and Naat by Hira Fatima (students of BS VII semester FHD Department)
Welcome speech was given by Ms. Ghazala Naeem, in which she welcomed the Chief Guest and Guests of Honors in particular and gave a brief review on history and development of Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan Govt. College Of Home Economics Karachi.
